POF can be used to protect sign faces against damage and deterioration due to natural and man-made causes. 1160 Series has a specially treated surface that is resistant to adhesives as well as paints and marker pens. They can also be used in combination with additional sheeting to mask out messages on new signs that can easily be revealed by removing the top surface when the time is right.
